Reebok shoes have held a special place in the hearts of people across the world. Since 1960 when the sports craze began, Reebok has been making shoes that are cheap, comfortable and most importantly wearable. One may find people on the streets wearing Reebok sneakers or sports apparel these days. When it started expanding base in the U.S., Reebok released some of its first super ht shoes that took the world by storm. These retro shoes are now a collector's prized possessions and are often auctioned off at major gala events. The first success Reebok enjoyed came from its Freestyle and Ex-O-Fit series of shoes.
When the aerobics and athletics craze hit the world, Reebok capitalized and released its Freestyle series of shoes. The Freestyle series boasted of a very comfortable fit and easy to wear velcrow straps to hold the foot in place securely. Added to this were the bright shads of colors that Reebok used to design its shoes. The success of Freestyle was immediately followed by the Ex-O-Fit series which was in essence just a modification of the Freestyle series. The Ex-O-Fit series consisted of one velcrow strap instead of the two that the Freestyle had. For a while after their initial success, Reebok laid low and then hit back with the best model that has been designed by them until now. The Reebok Pump was put. As its name suggests the shoe contained a small air bladder which helped secure the shoe to the ankle of the wearer. Following the Pump series was the Reebok DMX and the DGX series which were designed for the trendy and sporty young generation. These lines of shoes became a popular fashion statement with the trendy and fashion conscious younger generation. In essence, Reebok has never ever left the habit of designing shoes that are a wearer's ultimate dream. Whoever you are, wherever you may be - Reebok always delivers.
